Zouk Needs You: An immersive Brazilian Zouk experience

Join Val and Vanessa in beautiful Parma for a Brazilian Zouk immersion course built over a decade. Whether you're a student or a teacher, experienced or a beginner, leader or follower, this immersion is for you.

What is Zouk Needs You?

Zouk Needs You is not just a course; it's a complete immersion into technique, musicality, and a deeper understanding of Brazilian Zouk. After bringing together dancers from 41 countries in the last edition, we now enter our 11th edition with the same core principles:

Structured study

Participate in a well-designed schedule that progressively develops your skills.

Conscious repetition

Refine your movements and solidify your learning through incessant repetitions throughout the course

Clarity in fundamentals

Gain a clear understanding of the basic principles that underpin all advanced movements.

Real evolution, lasting results

This 5-day in-person intensive is for dancers of all levels, following Val & Vanessa’s proven methodology. It’s about understanding what you’re doing — and why.

Who is Zouk Needs You for?

Zouk Needs You is designed for dancers who want to deepen their foundation, feel technically “stuck,” seek clarity instead of confusion, value structured study, and are committed to consistent growth. If you love studying, you will love ZNY.

What to expect

Throughout the week, you’ll develop your skills through progressive study, practice, and application, with a focus on strong foundations, applied technique, Brazilian Zouk culture, and quality over quantity. This is not about collecting combinations; it's about real evolution and lasting results.
